This is a lovely cafe that serves excellent food. There is a basic menu + specials, and they do everything well. Portions are generous, and the prices are very reasonable. The staff are friendly and the service is quick. Nothing is too much trouble. There are 3 x 2 seat tables and 2 x 4 seat tables, so it is a cosy space and ideal if you find large eating places overwhelming. It is quiet with muted lighting and is very relaxed. I feel as if I'm in my own home. There are toilets upstairs and downstairs in the adjoining Conservative Club. It is across from the bus station so it isn't far to walk if you travel into town by bus.

I was looking for a local cafe for breakfast and someone local recommended this and it was a good call. I went for a Bacon and Mushroom sandwich and it was very good, served with a pot of tea, I like how they gave me an additional teapot full of hot water so you can have more than one cup full. Would recommend this place for breakfast, looks like they do lots of nice food. I have attached photos of the menu (Sept 2024). It located opposite the bus station and just one min walk from the Premier inn hotel.

Brilliant again. The staff are so friendly and the breakfast at £8.45 is a real bargain. The sausages are real meaty tasty gear. 2 eggs are always sunny middles.

Breakfast was excellent so big we didn't eat again till 8pm that evening .. place is very clean staff polite and service brilliant . It also very good value .. full breakfast consists of 2 sausage 2 bacon 2 eggs ( ended up with 4 cos eggs were double yolks) mushrooms tomatoes beans and 2 toast with butter and a small pot of marmalade served served separately..nothing tasted cheap or greasy got to say probably the best full brekky in town and only 8.95 .. fully recommend it ..you've got to try it ..

To be fair they were hit with a rush people . Group of 4 entered ahead of me and Main dining room almost all tables occupied. Had their special.Hunters chicken and asked for new potatoes and vegetables. Another 5 minutes cooking the vegetables would have been perfect but definitely undercooked. The Hunters chicken was piping hot and in all honesty the most succulent tender I have ever had, delicious. On another day they would have got it perfect . Will definitely eat here again .

Un assuming from the outside but once in very clean and spacious. Food was excellent, this will be my go to when in Shrewsbury again !
